The first information on the series dates back to June 2020, following the broadcast of the fourth part of La Casa de Papel. The existence of this “remake / spin-off” from Korea was confirmed by Netflix on December 1 of the same year. The Korean version of the series is then entrusted to the studio BH Entertainment. Filming took place in Seoul, South Korea between September 2021 and January 2022. Money Heist Korea airs from June 24, 2022.
