Fans of Penrith Panthers star Kurt Capewell are getting mad after an old video of Capwell resurfaced online. In the viral video, Kurt Capwell can be seen performing play-action. The purported video However is old and he was 20-year-old at the time when the video was filmed.

Panthers star Kurt Capewell insists he’s a different person to the one seen in purported videos that have resurfaced recently on social media.
Capewell notified police and the NRL’s integrity unit after images from the p**n video were attempted to be sold last year.
The video footage comes from a 2013 photo shoot but has been thrust into the spotlight again after being shared on social media.
It’s prompted Capewell to address the situation, with the 27-year-old admitting in a wide-ranging interview with the Daily Telegraph that he feared the day that it would come back to light.
Capewell was a 20-year-old playing for the Ipswich Jets at the time, when he agreed to be in a photo shoot for a sports clothing and underwear company.
What started out as a standard photo shoot, then turned into a nude shoot and eventually an adult film, in which he was seen performing a sexual act with another man.
Capewell – who is in a long-term relationship with a girlfriend – says he was “young and naive” and couldn’t say ‘no’ to the cash being offered at the time.
“The organiser used inducements and extra money for being involved in the adult film. I take full responsibility for what happened,” Capewell told the Daily Telegraph.
“My message to young people is to be really careful when being offered money for photo shoots. It’s not the person I am today.
“I’ve had to learn the hard way. I hope others don’t have to go through what I have endured.”
Images taken from the photo shoot were turned into a video and put up for sale, however, they were never purchased.
According to The Daily Telegraph, an investigation into the situation was conducted but later closed without any action taken.

Update: Kurt Capewell wrote a text message to explain the situation to his Panthers teammates, admitting he was “embarrassed and ashamed” by the sordid saga.
“Bit hard to put the full story into words but I was broke and doing some modelling, then I got talked into doing an (ad**t film),” Capewell wrote.
“Unknown to me but it turned out they put a bloke on the other side of the wall.
“I’m terribly embarrassed and ashamed even though it happened when I was so young.”
Capewell had a breakout 2020 after joining the Panthers from the Sharks, where he made his NRL debut in 2016.
The versatile forward came off the interchange bench in the Panthers’ grand final defeat to the Storm and played an integral part in the Maroons’ State of Origin series win.
